J-1 Student Overview and Objectives

6-24 month program length

Global Exchange Program Exchange Students have the opportunity to come to the US for either one or two semesters to take courses to satisfy their degree requirements from their home universities or earn their MBA degree at Virscend University.

1. Academic Engagement: Actively engage in academic coursework, discussions, and research projects, aiming to achieve academic excellence and broaden intellectual horizons.

2. Cultural Immersion: Embrace the opportunity to immerse oneself in the host country's culture, traditions, and customs, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.

3. Language Proficiency: Strive to improve language proficiency in the host country's language, whether through formal language courses, daily interactions, or cultural immersion experiences.

4. Adaptability: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in adjusting to a new academic environment, cultural norms, and social dynamics, navigating challenges with resilience and openness.

5. Networking: Actively network with fellow students, faculty members, and professionals in the host country, building relationships and expanding professional connections.

6. Community Engagement: Get involved in community service initiatives, volunteer activities, or extracurricular clubs and organizations, contributing positively to the host community and fostering social responsibility.

7. Cross-Cultural Communication: Cultivate effective cross-cultural communication skills, demonstrating respect, empathy, and sensitivity towards individuals from diverse backgrounds.

8. Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to all visa requirements, institutional policies, and regulations governing exchange programs, ensuring compliance and responsible conduct throughout the exchange period.
