Virscend University Co-Hosts GLOTECH 2025: A Global Conference on Technology and AI in Hospitality and Tourism

Virscend University, in partnership with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), proudly co-hosted the Global Conference on Technology and AI in Hospitality and Tourism (GLOTECH 2025). The event brought together scholars, industry leaders, and innovators from across the world to explore the transformative role of technology and artificial intelligence in the fields of hospitality and tourism.
This year’s conference achieved new milestones, showcasing a spirit of innovation, global exchange, and collaboration.
Highlights from GLOTECH 2025
Global Reach: The conference welcomed more than 280 participants—including 213 online and 70 in person—representing 17 countries.
Research Contributions: Over 70 papers were presented, covering disciplines such as tourism, hospitality, engineering, marketing, finance, data analytics, art, and medical sciences.
Thought Leadership: Attendees benefited from five keynote addresses and panels, as well as two interactive workshops focused on AI for Teaching and AI for Research. (Recordings are available at glotech.ai/schedule).
Innovation Milestone: For the first time in conference history, a keynote was delivered by a humanoid robot, Nylo, who spoke in five languages—embodying GLOTECH’s global and tech-forward vision.
Networking and Collaboration: The program emphasized connection-building, sparking new partnerships and collaborations that will extend well beyond the conference.
