Researchers from Virscend University’s SBIR Center have published a new study exploring how digital nomads build trust with generative AI companions. The findings show that social presence, interaction needs, and perceived social value all strengthen trust and encourage continued use of AI companions. This research offers valuable insights for organizations designing transparent, emotionally intelligent AI tools that support remote communication and enhance digital user experiences.
